Honestly, if the bookshop has aircon installed, I am probably capable of staying there for a couple of hours but with the kind of humidity we have in Singapore, I scampered off after getting what I think I needed. Bought 3 books and they cost me 500 units which is SGD $20. I find it's pretty reasonably priced but apparently in other currencies it might be cheaper. Power of arbitrage.

Mr Koh, our personal tourguide :) (Hey jieying if u r reading this, I think that's some slight resemblence between u n him, he's from yr faculty as well!) It was past 8pm and it's the sleeping hour for the doulos crews so, we didnt get our chance to have a full tour. Interestingly, they have different programs for people who are interested to work on board. 2 weeks, 2 months and 2 years and get to be exposed to various departments and have a feel of things.
