The Hidden Jolts of Calories in your Atas Kopi Peng/Kopi Ice Kachiang (Whatever u call ice blended in dialect)

Wake up and smell the coffee - that frappuccino you just drank contained more fat than a Big Mac and a medium Coke combined. A survey of national coffee chains Starbucks and Gloria Jean's Coffees, published in this month's Consumer magazine, reveals your coffee break could see you breaking the scales.

Bad news for me

I have been indulging in Starbucks White Choc Mocha and Coffeebean Belgium Chocolate WITH whipped cream lately. :( Never have been a fan of whipped cream but there's something heavenly about fattening food (the combination of whipped cream + kopi blows my mind, sooner or later break my scale). No wonder my metabolism died!

White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino = 410 calories, 140 fat calories
White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino® Light Blended Coffee = 180 calories, 15 fat calories

Can ask for Light Blended Coffee ah? Singapore got meh?

I'm so thankful I had only porridge for lunch and coke light n 1 cookie for dinner. Okie in between i indulge in old chang kee prawn nuggets.

Imagine when I hit my late 30s or after childbirth (hopefully not a test tube baby ha!), when my metabolism rate is non-existent, the fats from the char kway teow eaten in 2007, fraps and ice blended in 2008 and so on start to surface on my waist, my buttocks and thighs! oh man.. the thought of looking like a cylinder hits me, but with skinny ankles, maybe a cone is more appropriate?

Dim sum buffet on thursday somemore. :(
