To the stars that played with the darkness
I sang of love and burned up completely

I'm back and i feel fat and i look fatter.

The trip to taiwan was not bad, not bad in the sense that things can always be better?

this trip was a chance to really rest, inhale fresh air (rural area) and marvel at God's creation. I took the opportunity to put my devotional msgs into practice and the number of items to praise God for, is infinite.

There were several times, our bus wheezed with the the strains of the slope. Perhaps being too bored, i imagined our bus being tossed down the mountains and sent us to meet the raging sea!

Being a cynic and a skeptic, i prepared myself for large amount of brainwashing.Oh lingzhi does wonders to your health. Our lingzhi grows in the wilderness and it is not tainted by pollution. It is beneficial to old people who have this problem and that problem. There is also this scary looking deer foetus which is all dried up and helps those with asthmatic and leg problems. Apparently Song Meiling ate it, recovered from asthma and it saved her life. Having touched on health, it is obvious that the next topic would be wealth. Tian lu is a mixture of dragon, qilin and horse? (i think so la, wasn't paying attention..) Heh dodgy salesman who greeted us with that over friendly grin looks like a con man. Next we proceeded to hearing some sweet talk based on our names. I won't say i was surprised upon hearing that what the lady said? Nice to hear but i won't buy. Well I find myself rolling my eyes, raised my brows and coughed unknowingly when they lady interpreted my brother's name. From a fragment of my memory cos i was too bewildered by what i've heard... here goes : His career is doing well (cough cough), knows how to manage his finance well!!! (cough even louder) Hmm we shall see abt it?

Nothing against lingzhi or fengshui stuff but i personally feel that such things work for the betterment for the rich than the poor. Unless you have the money to purchase the lingzhi, u seem destined to have a higher chance of getting cancer or risk not being able to recover? Unless you have the money to purchase the Tian lu etc, you risk a higher probability of remaining status quo, fall into poverty or take a longer time to prosper. What about the poor? Are they perpetually trapped in the cycle of poverty, slavery and sickness? And so it seems like fengshui helps the rich to get richer and the poor remains status quo unless with some unknown intervention.

photos soon.
