and so it came and went!
i think i sound like my dearest neighbour. we're rarely excited abt our own bdae.
anyway i went out with my mum for lunch after gettin a short rest and when i said short rest, it really is. i abt to die faster than anyone with my disgusting slping habits esp when assignments deadline draw near. i slept only 2 hrs the day before and 5 hrs today. i wonder if i haven't been staying up till late the past few nights, how am i ever going to finish my report? i can't believe i stayed up till 4am just to touch up on the reference, alignment and add some crappy words to intro n conclusion. okie back to bday, i went to meet the girls for dinner (: i appreciate that. HAHA i'm looking forward to the belated celebration on sat.
had an awesome teacher's day celebration at SHG. i must say the kids really put in a lot of effort. as i read what they wrote to me... my "no-life" weekends started to shine with some meaning. yeah of cos i know volunteering is uber meaningful but it's super tiring when you have deadlines to meet and friends who often plan to go out on sat. tt sat, hahaa many of us aspired to be full time teachers! tat saturday only.
when i was in pri sch, we often had teacher's day celebration and teacher' bday celebration. tt made me wonder when my turn would come. HAHA here it is, last sat!
i admire being a child. there are no hidden agenda and everything comes from their heart ( N.A for some). perhaps we became tainted by the world? everything we do seems to have a hidden agenda. i think i am caught up in one of those building a fortress within a fortress moment.
it's tiring when u r doing 2 guard duties.
oh yea charlene is super sweet. she brought icecream and chicken essence for me when she came over to my place to chiong sm :)
