somehow lately i had this strange & ridiculous theory in my head.
everyone is being planted on planet earth and we have vague memories on our growing up & old process."our so called memories" are merely images activated by robots thru microchips inserted into our brains. there are no retrenchments, no white hair, no wrinkles and no illnesses.utophia?before my imaginations carried me too far away, i'm hit by the fact old age is for real.
maybe i refused to buy the reality that we will all wrinkle one day.
everyone wants to feel useful at all stages of our lives? we dont want to feel abandoned? but somehow it seems the society has abandoned some of us, esp the greying ones? how are we going to live the rest of the days after contributing our youth & essence to the world? the smart & most prob rich ones will opt for investment or continue to work? wad abt the poor? wad abt some who are neither rich nor poor? there aren't much choices left from what i see.
janitors/taxidrivers/dish washers/retail assistants/work in fast food outlets?
dont get me wrong.. they are indeed decent careers just that it pains me if any of my parents have to work in the above when they should be enjoying their fruit of their labour?
send me some sunshine.
