home alone on xmas eve :(
friday 23 dec.
morning was chilly and the xmas mood was present. went toa payoh cold storage to buy more food. bought too much parsley.
i was the only one waiting for bus 231 white plate and 232 green plate came. i decided not to wait and boarded 232 and i saw another bus behind ... well it is 231, the bus that would bring me closer to home.
i dunno if this is what God was trying to speak to me through the illustration of buses 231 and 232.
WAIT PATIENTLY!the spur of the moment to hop on to a ride that you have a degree of uncertainty whether it would take you to the intended destination but you decided to hop on to it bcos it is right here infront of your eyes! CONVENIENCE the invisible banner waves at you!
it can't be that bad after all since u can always press the bell and alight! you are in control!
in most people's life.. there are alot of potentials around us or right before us. inquisitive humans couldn't help playing the guessing game. is he or she my prospective spouse? some choose to take a gamble and get together without knowing each other really well. ( dun ask me how well is enough to get together)
life is a gamble and it is mathematics. most people want to take a gamble even if they dunno simple mathematics or possessed a PhD in mathematics. so if things worked out finely.. the "gamble" paid off and if it doesn't; move on and try take another gamble.
my point is.. BGR is more than convenience, plain luck and mathematics. the decision to get together could turn out to be a detour of God's original plan or even lead you away from His wonderful plans. i want God the great mathematician to reveal His perfect timing.

anyway i alighted at the stop somewhere opp my block and spent another 8 mins walking home instead of 3!
