To the stars that played with the darkness
I sang of love and burned up completely

Sunday, July 17, 2005 @ 8:58 PM

the alarm ranged and i contemplated to wake up. suddenly i recalled that im supposed to grill the kebabs. "staggered" my way to the kitchen.

what can i say.. i have an absolutely exciting sunday morning. well not exactly exciting, here is a list of the faux excitment

  1. a mixture of pain from stiffnecked ( thanks to talkin to people like lynn - mostly, william and theresa when i was occupied with either the kebabs or printing the letter for lynn)
  2. caused a blackout cos i spilled the gravy to the power socket?
  3. eletrocuted while cleaning the power socket - wadever u call it cant think of the actual name.

yes my near death experience.. went retarded for a few minutes and subsequently still couldn't get over the fact that i actually got electrocuted?

okie closed that chapter on the electricity encounter, my hair is still the same and i'm not the slightest bit burnt. thank God!

this sunday is alittle out of my usual sunday -

  1. my 1st conversation with pohsuan, talked abt baking and those usual faq people would normally asked for the first time.
  2. it's our turn to do refreshment and phyliss came! singing one of my fav songs - To You also added rainbows to my sunday which isn't tt sunny ( rained).
  3. The session during kaleo was fun and i had a great time. It's different from the usual style where we sit and listen to "lectures". Hmm i hope you (phy) din feel bored cos i saw moments when you were in deep thoughts..
  4. talked to kelly oliver abt perankan cusine and that im keen to learn the art of peranakan cooking. my dad is baba and he can't really cook peranakan stuff. the next source to learn it besides recipes book is aunty nelly but eh we normally only meet once a year. if opportunity arises, yup i will learn from her.
  5. listened to the sharing from rev da***, dun rem his name but yea he's a cool youth pastor who wears earrings and has toe rings. he ministers to black kids.

comfort food session over at coffee club - outlet at hotel rendevous. elated to meet farah (hello farah!) We lay back and enjoyed the choc fondue and yes my ice earl vanilla. I dislike crowded cafes.. any cafes situated near orchard during peak hrs are blacklisted. It's my off day and i want a somewhat quiet slow paced environment and not to strain my voicebox to get my point across. People watching in a crowded cafe, let's leave it to saturdays when you still have sundays to rest.

i'm melting into slumber soon..
