jus got back not too long ago from orchard :)
went out with mummy. had dinner at holland v thai express. i had green curry chicken and she had thai pineapple fried rice, the exact stuff i ate with toothpaste lynn. dinner was yummylicious. oh yea met gary too, he's still serving his long service award in np if you get wad i mean. before i actually accurately identified he was gary, i was lookin high and low to see if he is gary. well heh... his fren turned and looked at me! my first instinct was to look away. anyway yeah went up to chat alittle with him.
some lame stuff abt work...
was telling jasmine tt my buddy wanted me to edit the letter to tax payer regarding the concessionary treatment.
"please reply by ddmmyy" --> "please let me have your reply by ddmmyy"
we were like yea wads e diff? okie the editted one sounds more courteous.. frendly wadever la..
so we were saying if im the tax payer or tax agent, i prob wld be like orhn okie reply to ddmmyy. tt's our focus but elliot felt that the editted one hmm nicer la.
so sharon said : we might as well say dear tax payer.. your outstanding amount is due, could you kindly please pay up? thank you see you again.. have a nice day.
yong hau ah beng's version when i comes to query : ( for e.g.) wad talking you in your audited's report? please tell me why your p/l and tax comp diff figures.
and so we laughed abt this and returned to office after lunch to work again..
