A night of thanksgiving followed by another exciting night of praise n worship. Hmm an entire new style i've experienced to start a new year. In a way, this year was kicked off with some solemn thoughts that were brought over from 2004. The tsunamis catastrophe came as a wake up call to many of us. Some ponder over the fragility of life, why this happened and yes there are some who remained indifferent.
I rem someone in church said this, instead of lamenting why this happened, why not think why this din happen on us ( singapore). Indeed we are very blessed to have narrowly escaped cos well we are pretty near to indo, anything could happened. It is part of God's plan why we were "protected" and i thank God for that. This serves as a wake up call to me that, there are many those out there who have not heard of the Gospel and are in need to. Yea i'm must say that i still get cold feet if anyone ask me to witness but i do want to touch lives out there and let know the goodness that i've experienced and will still carry on to experience in Him.
Evangeline came over to my place to do some bakie cookies. Hahha yea she came out with the term bakie cookies. Know a lesson i've learnt? Haha never never gave an empty promise to any children. Gosh they have a freakin gd memory lo. While dining with e grp yest. evan msged me aksin if we r still bakie cookies, i was like eh er hmm do u still wanna bake? Well that was an attempt to divert attention. The next sms came like this: I took a v long time to get your no. you know, if i din contact you, would u still contact me?? I was like Oh oh.. -_-"
The baking process was fun though the choc cookie she wanna bake turned out to stay pretty awful and the toll house cookie i picked turned out obviously nicer (hehe). Had a great time bonding with her.
Heh mondae gonna be another hectic day with projects and assignment.. yucks.
